Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy

Arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, previously known as “arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy” is a primary disease of heart muscle that results in fibro-fatty replacement of the right ventricle and the sub-epicardial region of the left ventricle. Patients are at high risk for ventricular tachyarrhythmias and sudden death, particularly during intensive exercise.9 LEOs with arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy should be provided with restrictions.
