Periodic Evaluation

It is the consensus of the Public Safety Medicine Task Group that LEOs with stable and well-controlled fibromyalgia should be reevaluated at least annually. If there are any changes in the fibromyalgia to include but not limited to changes in treatment, the LEO should be reassessed to determine if the changes may require restrictions, increase the risk of sudden incapacitation, or interfere with the safe and effective performance of the essential job tasks.
